…this is actually why we’re sharing what we got up to 6 weeks late. It’s just been that busy!
Term 3 at BKT wrapped up with an incredible flurry of workshops, travel, and deeply meaningful conversations. Our team found themselves criss-crossing the state – from city auditoriums to country classrooms – bringing BKT to young people and communities keen to explore all things God, sex and relationships. We saw the Lord move in powerful ways (as He always does), and we’re so grateful for every open door and every story shared.
In this article, we’ll take you through some of the highlights from Term 3 – and stay tuned, because Term 4 hasn’t slowed down either. *Hint: more miles, more ministry, and more of God doing what He does best.
Grade 1–Year 12 at Heathdale Christian College, Melton

What an incredible few weeks at Heathdale Christian College (Melton campus! Lauren, Georgia, Joel and Alyssa spent time with students from Grade 1 through to Year 12, and we saw so much joy, courage and the Lord’s gentle work across every age group.
The younger primary students learned that their bodies are made by God and therefore precious and worth protecting. The workshop even ended with a full dance party! Among the Year 7s and 8s, many students responded to Jesus, with teachers deeply moved after months of prayer and investment.
One teacher shared that they believe there is an anointing on Big Kids’ Table for the Kingdom – we’d tend to agree!
With the Grade 4–6 students, we had important conversations about online safety and help-seeking behaviours. The Year 9s and 10s engaged thoughtfully around culture, consent, language, and personal boundaries, recognising their value and capacity to be culture-shapers in their world. We finished our time with Heathdale Melton with their year 11s and 12s. Together, we spend the day unpacking sexual health, alcohol and consent, and why our worldview and understanding of God is so vital in it all.
All up, we saw 42 young people respond to the Gospel and choose to give their lives to Jesus. All in a sex ed workshop no less!
We left so encouraged: God is moving and we’re grateful to be part of what He’s already doing.
We’re already looking forward to returning to Heathdale Werribee in Term 1 2026.
Yr 8s at Presbyterian Ladies College (PLC), Burwood

In September, Georgia and Joel spent the morning with the Year 8 students at PLC. Together, we explored what God has to say about sex, as well as the cultural impact and harm of pornography. The girls were respectful, curious, and full of energy as we talked about what it means to be a person of integrity. That is, someone whose beliefs and behaviour align, and who can be proud of who they are and what they stand for.
It’s always a joy to return to PLC. We’re grateful for their openness and partnership, and we look forward to future workshops and continued collaboration with their community.
Yr 9s at Lighthouse Christian College, Keysborough

Lauren, Georgia, and Joel spent the day with the Year 9 cohort at Lighthouse Christian College in Keysborough. Together, we explored the contrast between what our world (especially the pornography industry) says “good sex” looks like, and the beautiful, intentional design God has for sex within His Kingdom.
God’s presence was unmistakable. 2 students responded to the Gospel during the workshop and many more joined us in prayer together. How amazing!
We also had the privilege of meeting the youth pastor from the church located on the school campus, and we are excited to see these young people connected into their youth community where they can continue to be discipled and supported.
Grade 4-6 at Red Rock Christian College, Sunbury

In late September, Georgia and Joel drove into regional Victoria to spend the afternoon with the Grade 4–6 students at Red Rock Christian College in Sunbury. It was a joy to return — not only because we’ve partnered with this school before, but also because Georgia previously served as the chaplain of this community! Being back and seeing familiar faces was lovely.
Together, we explored the truth that our bodies are made by God as very good and purpose. We talked about puberty as something we don’t need to fear, but can understand and feel confident navigating. Students worked in groups to identify basic reproductive anatomy, recognise the changes that come with puberty, and develop their own practical strategies for managing those changes — socially, emotionally, and physically.
We loved being with this community again, and we look forward to returning in the future.
Grade 5-Year 7 at Chairo Christian College, Traralgon

To finish the term, Georgia and Alyssa travelled to Traralgon in regional Victoria to work with students from Chairo Christian College’s Traralgon campus, joined by a group who travelled up from Leongatha. With the Grade 5s and 6s, we explored online safety, healthy boundaries, and how to seek help when something feels unsafe online – it ended with a dance party and a bunch of fun!
With the Year 7s and 8s, we dug deeper into worldview looking at what we believe about God, sex, and identity once we understand the harm of pornography, and imagining what healthy, God-shaped sexuality can look like. Students raised thought-provoking questions and it was a delight to explore the answers together.
We also spent time with staff in the afternoon, reflecting on the wider cultural landscape and how both schools and churches can navigate these conversations with wisdom and care.
It has been a joy to partner with Chairo across multiple campuses over the years, and what a beautiful landscape and part of the country to serve in!

Christmas 2025
As we look back on a full and faith-filled term, we’re reminded again how deeply young people are longing for hope, truth, and a healthier story. This Christmas, we’re inviting you to help us set a bigger table so more students, families, and communities can experience the hope of the gospel and God’s good design for sexuality.
If our work resonates with you, would you consider supporting our Christmas Appeal?
Every gift helps us say yes to more schools, more regions, and more young people who are longing for this conversation.
After a big update, that’s a wrap!
The table keeps growing. The Spirit keeps moving. And young people keep responding.
What a privilege it is to take part in this Kingdom work together.
