Term 1 has come and gone already!

Term 1 has flown by, and already we’re reflecting on just how much has been packed into these past few months. Across schools, staff rooms, parent gatherings and classrooms, we’ve had the privilege of sitting at the table with young people and the communities that surround them. The goal? Creating space for honest, thoughtful, and hope-filled conversations about sex, relationships, and faith. Every term brings its own stories, but this one has been particularly rich. Here’s a glimpse into what Term 1 looked like at Big Kids’ Table… Heathdale Christian College Secondary, Werribee Across February and March this year, the Big Kids’ Table team had the privilege of spending time with the secondary students, staff,

God at Work in Term 3 2025 – What a Start!

Term 3 has been filled with so much goodness! From classrooms to youth groups, from parent nights to networking with like-minded organisations, we’ve been reminded again that these conversations about faith, sexuality, and relationships truly matter. Here’s a glimpse at what we’ve been up to, and what’s still ahead. Heathdale Melton Parents & Staff Term three began with an incredible start as Lauren and Georgia joined the staff and parents of Heathdale Christian College (Melton campus) to explore all things sexual discipleship. It’s been a term packed with travel, curiosity, and most excitingly, big conversations. Back to Tassie – Geneva Christian College In late May, our team returned to Devonport, Tasmania to work with Geneva Christian College. What a joy it was to engage with students from Years 7 to 12 on topics like healthy relationships, dating, consent, sexual anatomy, pornography, alcohol and consent, and what God has to say about it all. Students were

When Students Lead the Way Towards Real Change ✨

Last week, our team had the privilege of holding space for big, hope-filled, educating conversations at Chairo Christian College (Drouin campus) and Plenty Valley Christian College Primary (PVCC). At these events, God did what He does best! ✊🏼 Yr 9s at Chairo Drouin: We spent the full day with Year 9 students diving deep into topics that matter: But the day didn’t end there. We finished by facilitating a “Change Project” — where students reflected on everything they’d learned and asked: What does God say about this? How can I make a positive, God-focused change in my community, classroom, and relationships? We wrapped up by celebrating God’s good vision for sex, and the radical hope we

What a week in Devonport, Tasmania!

Last week, the Big Kids’ Table team had the privilege of spending time in the beautiful town of Devonport, Tasmania, working with two incredible school communities: Leighland Christian College (LCC) and Devonport Christian School (DCS). Across the week, we ran a wide range of workshops with both primary and high school students, as well as their parent communities. From conversations about puberty, consent, and healthy relationships to tackling topics like online safety and pornography exposure, we witnessed firsthand the impact of honest, hope-filled education rooted in God’s truth. Each school brought its own unique culture and curiosity to the table, creating space for rich dialogue and reflection. We’re especially grateful to our hosts for their
